Hecate | Black Tea Blend

Imagine sitting by the fire in the woods. It's pitch black with just a sliver of a hanging moon. Warm light flickers along the lines of her face. Heart to heart with a crone who shares her ancient stories with you. Your nerves are soothed by the deep lull of her leathery voice. The agony of your travels is somehow lifted. You become held in the smoke, time stands still where you embody all of your ancestors. She braids your hair, weaving together your past, present, and future self.

This blend is named after Hecate (Heh-kah-tee) The Greek Goddess of the underworld, magic, the moon and ghosts. The Lady of the crossroads. She is often represented by 3 faces ~ Mother, Maiden & Crone.

• Ingredients: Assam black tea, red rose, *roasted cacao shells, lapsang souchong, *skullcap, cardamom, pink peppercorn, vanilla bean & essence. *organic
• Caffeine Level: High
• Flavor: Deep dark and slightly smokey with warm spice and floral undertones. 
• Brewing: Use 2-3 tsp. to infuse one cup. Pour freshly boiled water over the tea and let steep 4-5 minutes. Strain and add milk or sweetener if desired. We like to brew this blend strong. Makes an excellent tea latte with your favorite milk and a drizzle of maple syrup, brown sugar or honey.
