A matcha ritual can be a time for cultivating inner peace, being present in the moment and connecting with who you are. Let's gather and take a break from the rush, we would love for you to bring your energy to this gathering.
Yoriko Hongo will share her wisdom, the history of matcha, and a glimpse into traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Together, we’ll enjoy a sweet treat, whisk up matcha with authentic tools and learn the art of preparing a bowl of tea. Come as you are and bring your questions and curiosity. All are welcome.
We're excited to welcome Natalie’s mother, Yoriko, who is visiting from LA and Kyoto to guide our afternoon. It’s because of her close relationships back home that we're able to share teas sourced directly from Uji, Japan with you.
Feel free to come early if you'd like to browse the shop and settle in before we begin.
Registration Details:
- Space is limited to 14. Your spot will be held after paying for registration.
- How to register: Add this item to your cart and complete payment during checkout. If you are signing up for another person, or multiple people, change the quantity.
- Cancellations and refunds: 50% (of registration cost) fee will apply for cancellations made after July 13th . If you need to cancel before the 13th, please call or email us asap for a full refund. No refunds for no shows.
- Accessibility: This class is being held in our upstairs community space, we apologize that it is not ADA accessible.
